Yes there should be laws in the utopian society. Even though it is an place for people to come an relax, people tend to over time seem to take things for granted. The laws shouldnt be that strict but in effect enought to keep some order. The order in which when things happen who will the people turn to? They will just run around like scared chickens. They will not be able to do anything. So in the utopian society it would kinda be like an tag-a-war. It will be when the people for an month honor the laws they will be able have an fun day when the laws are not effect.
i think there should be NO laws in a Utopian society. if this is supposed to be a place of serenity then there will be no problems at all. so i don't think that it is right for people to place issues in a Utopian society because then it would be no point of creating Utopia in the first place
Yes their should be laws in a utopia society. Because even thought it is supposed to be a place of no problems you have to rember it is still a place where people live. Just because it's differen then other palces there should still be order so people want forget it's a real society.
why charmisa what if the people thier began to distory this perfect place or began to act up what would you do. How would you control the people
There should not be any laws in an utopian society because it's a perfect place. When every thing in your society is suppose to perfect then you shouldn't want to do anything to come aganist your society, which mean envolving yourself with negative things.
But elesse why not any laws these are still people we are talking about people are only humans not perfect the place might be perfect people are just people they need laws to follow in order to keep everything in order

Well Marlene, if the people there began to destroy the society then that would be a different story. I feel that being perfect means that there are NO problems at all.
Well charmisa when you have an preaceful place you tend to have somebody who cant stay the fact that the place is peaceful. Also people can only for an certain time ebjoy peaceful place. when they is nothing going wrong people will snap what would you do for them?

Ok everyone, So let's say that I want to live in this utopian society. But to me I love to steal and a utopian society for me is where I can steal the most. So how are the victims of my crimes protected? Or should I be banished from the society?
There should be laws in Utopia because people will get too wild and crazy if they don't have certain rules to follow.
To Marlene there should never be laws in a utopian society. If you put laws in it it would no longer be a utopia it would be America started of as someones idea of a utopian society. If youy put laws in it people are still going to do what they want.
what i am trying to get you to understand is that if there is this perfect place then there is no way that anyone can even be allowed to even step foot in this world you have to already be thinking clearly and positive
I think that the person should be banished from the society. Only because they do not have no laws and if a person comes in there trying to steal they should be banished. But then again they should be punished because humans do crazy things because they are only humans so if this person steals so will another resident from the place. So therefore it should be laws to punish the crimial to protect he other people in utopia. Also if there are no laws how would the people feel safe and how would they know for sure that someone won't make a mistake. Any bad mistake can harm the whole community.

I THINK THAT THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY LAWS BECUSE OF THE FACT THAT IF A SOCIETY IS A UTOPIA, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT; THUS, CREATING A SOCIETY THAT SHOULD BE FREE OF ANY IMPERFECTIONS. THEREFORE, THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY LAWS.

So should somone be banished for stealing? Or should they be allowed to live in the society? The fundamental question is do humans have the abiltiy to live without doing wrong? A utopian society would require just that. What do you think?
I believe that there should'nt be laws in a utopian society because an utopian should origionaly be a structured well supported and a place that manifests harmony and love.Also I believe that a utopian society shouldn't have laws cause if you have laws it wont be civilized anymore it'll just turn into a matter like when parliament came at the colonies which will result in a extroadinary bad outcome

Jerome If you institute laws, don't you think people would sneak and break the laws as they do now? Do people really have the ability to live without doing wrong?
I think that there should not be any laws in a utopian society because if utopian is "perfect" what do you need laws for nothing should go wrong. But, we can not control what humans do. In the perfect society humans would be perfect I do think and wouldn't do anything that would harm the society because utopian is built on trust, love, truth, everything that is considered to be "perfect.

i really believe it shouldnt either. I really disagree with marlene. If there were laws, it wouldnt be a peaceful place. You wouve to listen the laws. If one law says that you are not allowed to have fun, you cant have fun. Its a law.
I believe that there should be laws even tough it's suppose to be like a perfect society. I believe that without no laws someone will disregard the fact that it's suppose to b a perfect society and decide to commit crime just because there's no laws, and they wouldn't even get in trouble because there's no laws.
Amber you refer to humans adjusting to the "way" the utopian way. How will they leave behind those things that plague society today? Smoking, pollution, violence, gambling, etc. In your paper you said that you would end gambling. Do you think people would sneak and do it anyway?
I think that it should be laws in the Utopian Society. Even though it is a place where their is no crime but you never know what people could do. I also think that the laws shouldnt be that strict because people their isnt really do anything out of the ordinary. I feel as though it would be on the safe side to have laws, because any place where people live should have laws and orders so that it can always let a person know the consequence of an action that they might do.

how would you handle amy ,atter that happens in his society. Lets say im new and im very nice to everyone. the next 3 yrs. i start an cult and recuit people to it. After an while ill tell people to kill 50 people each and they do. How would you handle that manner. Also you dont know who the member are.

I think there should be law be they should be limited and only be laws to improve the Utopia. But the laws cant be real strict to the point that the people of the Utopian Society start to feel like its social injustice.
I feel as though because this is utopia not just some place that people can just come freely into and live you would have to under go different test to see what type of person you are just because you seem nice on the outside doesn’t mean you are the same in the inside.

In a Utopian society everything would be perfect there aren't any need for police because there would not be any problems like that because it is utopia.

Well, I disagree with what marlene first statement because why should there be laws in a society that is perfect also known as paradise. If the utopian society had laws then everyone can compare that to conflict because the laws would mean that the society has some type of disruption, and ignorant people.
the concept of an utopia is a hard thing to think about because we forget the fact that in a utopia everything is perfect so we really would not have to worry about little fights and things because they would not happen.
Charles I kind of do agree with your last statement but then again I don't because the children in the utopian society should at a certain age have respect for everyone in that society. For instance, a child around two years of age should already respect others and they should have learn that from their parents.
